I started making quilts for my children and friends, once everyone had their own my daughter decided to try and sell one, which was successful and thus Kel’s Quilts was born.

I have always enjoyed making things having sewn since my grandmother taught me on her hand driven Singer sewing machine, I even remember the first thing I made which was a soft Pooh Bear.
Everything I make is done by hand, thus each item is unique and makes a hugely personal gift for anyone. A quilt can also be a wonderful way to remember a loved one, incorporating favourite colours, themes or even fabrics.

Everything you see is completely handmade by me, from selecting the fabric to packing the quilt and sending to you.

If you see anything that is not quite right i.e. size or colour or you just want something completely different, I can make quilts/bags to order. This has been something I have had requests for; double sided baby playmats etc.
